This workshop explores some of the themes in  Great Odds in the form of an interactive storytelling workshop with puppets, led by the Great Odds cast.

It is a workshop for young people, adapted to meet access requirements of the group on that day and in turn, explore creative access as part of the making process.

This workshop aims to encourage and explore increased emotional vocabulary and empathy through puppetry and object animation.

Accessible, pre-workshop resource material available upon request.

Children from Brimsdown school participated in this workshop with their teachers and communication support workers.
This is what their teachers thought:
It was a new experience for the children, seeing deaf and hearing actors and actresses working together.
I'm surprised that children understood the visual representation of emotion through puppetry.
The children were still talking about it when we left and wished it was longer.
